My Vet is a multi-site veterinary practice with locations across Dublin and Kildare. Our clients and their pets benefit from our advanced CT scanning services, as well as our referral services for surgery and dentistry, supported by our experienced primary care teams. With a dedicated team of over 40 nursing associates, our practices are committed to providing personalised care and attention to each patient, recognising the importance of treating every pet as a valued member of the family.

My Vet was founded in 2008 and joined Linnaeus (part of Mars) in 2021.

About The Role:

In this role you will be a key member of the senior leadership team, working collaboratively with the Clinical Director (CD), Practice Manager (PM) & Group Operations Manager. You will also work effectively with Clinical Nursing Managers (CNM) and Regional teams to passionately deliver quality patient care, and unrivalled client experience through teamwork and clear communication.  

Approximately 20% of your role will be spent undertaking clinical duties including a share of the out of hours rota as required. You will provide direct line management and leadership to members of the nursing team. You will embrace our culture with a growth mindset, leading by example with a passion for self-development to support yourself and others and find ways to team up with others for mutual benefit. Travel and flexibility will be required.

About You:

Minimum 7 years post-RVN registration

Demonstrated success in leading and developing a large team

Experience in facilitating business growth through nursing services

Coaching and mentoring experience

Budgeting and financial experience

Capable of communicating confidently and effectively at all organizational levels.

Highly organised, with strong multitasking, planning, and prioritisation skills.
