MyVet Lucan is expanding! Due to our growing hospital, MyVet Lucan is now looking for an additional Registered Veterinary Nurse to our large and friendly team.
At MyVet, we believe nurses should be able to nurse which is why we have dedicated teams of Animal Care Assistants and Client Care to support you and the vets, allowing you to focus on delivering exceptional patient care!
While experience is preferable, this role is open to new graduates.
We have a collaborative environment in which nurses are encouraged to engage in all aspects of patient care - all while working alongside our skilled team of vets.

MyVet Lucan is a busy 24/7 emergency, first-opinion and referral small animal practice with a large, collaborative team that offers all the mod-cons you would expect ensuring we can provide exceptional care to all patients who come through our doors. Our experienced nursing and veterinary teams have a wealth of knowledge which is used collaboratively across all 4 sites.

The role:
As an RVN for MyVet, our nursing teams play a critical role in delivering high-quality patient care. No two days looks the same. Your responsibilities will include carrying out nurse consultations, monitoring patients under surgical patients throughout their procedures and recovery and care for hospitalised patients during their stay with us. You will work closely alongside an experienced veterinary team who are in the process of/have completed additional certificates including, ultrasonography and internal medicine meaning you will get to utilise your full range of skills.
Working Pattern:
- Full-time - 40 hours per week with no OOH work
- Monday to Friday structured rota
- 1 in 4 Saturdays
- 1 in 8 full weekends (Sunday's paid at premium rate)
- Bank Holidays on rotation in our Lucan branch (average of one a year)
