Practice Manager

Advanced Pet Care Smith & Foley Veterinary Services seek to appoint a Practice Manager for our 2-site mixed practice in County Meath. This is a full-time permanent position in a long-established practice.

As Practice Manager you will work with our senior management and administration teams to ensure the smooth operation of the practice whilst also providing effective communication with our clinical directors and the Vet Partners management team.

Your duties will involve but not limited to the following:

• Implement and uphold practice policies and procedures

• Foster a culture of clear communication, leadership and effective management

• Office management

• Finance, cash management with some banking responsibilities

• Involvement in the recruitment, retention and integration of new team members

• Handle customer complaints effectively

Candidates will have:

• Proven track record in Practice Management

• Excellent communication and leadership skills

• Proactive in implementing policies and procedures

• Have an understanding of finances including stock control, cost control and pricing

• Demonstrate strong organisational and leadership skills and a passion for developing colleagues and the practice

• Be a natural leader, who is proactive, flexible and approachable, and be able to communicate and build strong relationships with both colleagues and clients

• Be a confident decision maker being mindful of patient, owner and the practice considerations whilst also being able to prioritise work deadlines

Salary commensurate with experience, €38,000-€45,000 p.a. Attractive package awaits the successful candidate
