Veterinary Receptionist Small Animal Hospital

Palmerstown Veterinary Hospital is looking for a Full-Time Veterinary Receptionist to join our growing team.
As the first point of contact for our clients, you'll play a vital role in creating a welcoming experience for pet owners while supporting our team of vets and nurses in a busy Small Animal hospital. No two days are the same, making this an ideal opportunity for someone who is organised, adaptable, and enjoys variety in their work.
What You'll Be Doing
- Welcoming clients and their pets with professionalism and warmth
- Managing appointments, phone calls, and client enquiries
- Supporting the clinical team with day-to-day administration
- Handling a busy reception desk while maintaining excellent customer service
- Building positive relationships with clients and colleagues alike
About You
We're looking for someone who is:
- Experienced in a customer-facing or receptionist role
- Friendly, confident, and highly organised
- Comfortable using computer systems and learning new software
- A strong multitasker who can stay calm under pressure
- Passionate about delivering outstanding customer service
Previous veterinary reception experience is welcome but not essential. An animal care qualification would be an advantage, although full training will be provided for the right candidate.
